Fiona Mcpheat
Yoga Teacher
I have been practising yoga for more than 20 years and know first hand that it enables me to feel better in my body, clearer in my mind, more in touch with my emotions and better equipped to handle stress.
My curiosity to understand how and why this 1000’s year old system works not just physically but mentally, has led me into deeper studies of yoga.
I am a qualified Yoga Teacher (200hr) and have pursued advanced training with many brilliant teachers in Anatomy & Biomechanics, Yin Yoga, Pranayama & Meditation, Yoga for Athletes, Nada Yoga, Sequencing & Alignment.
Sharing and applying my knowledge and experience to support others on their life journeys is one of my greatest joys.
Let’s see how I can help you!!
what kind of yoga do i teach?
Based on my knowledge of Anatomy & Biomechanics and training in Hatha, Yin, Pranayama, Nidra, and Yoga for Athletes, I know that there is a time and place for all types of yoga. My yoga practices are designed specifically to suit the needs of the people who join me.
I teach yoga privately and in a corporate & studio environments, both live in person & online.

Yoga for Cyclists workshops
Active cyclists have increasingly become aware of the benefits of adding a yoga practise to their training. I hold workshops and classes for Cycling clubs that are especially designed to promote the use of your mind and body to improve your cycling performance and recovery
HATHA YOGA
The most foundational form of yoga is Hatha yoga. Central to Hatha yoga practise is the physical postures Asanas and breathing, Pranayama
YIN YOGA
A fundamentally norishing practice body and mind. Physiologically, Yin Yoga targets the deeper connective tissue or fasica that binds joints and is wrapped around all internal parts of the body. The emotional and psychological benefits support us in our mindfulness practice.
VINYASA YOGA
Let your body move….The Sanskrit word vinyasa can be translated as “arranging something in a specific way”. In a vinyasa style practice, we coordinate movement with breath to flow and connect one pose to the next.
PRANAYAMA
Breath control or breath liberation?! Pranayama is often described as breathing techniques – it is much more than that. Physically, Pranayama techniques can help us to effectively utilise and strengthen the whole range of respiratory organs. The link between breathing and our emotional state is well established. We can use Pranayama techniques to alter our physical and emotional state.
YOGA NIDRA
Yoga Nidra is a deep relaxation technique and a form of guided meditation. Also called yogic sleep, yoga nidra is a state between sleeping and waking. The body is completely relaxed and the practice draws our attention inwards by listening to a set of instructions. We learn to surf between the states of wakefulness and sleep, our body finds its natural state of equilibrium

Some words from my yogis
”Tack for din inspirerande yoga.
